The Center for Visual Communications KVADRAT is a production and educational film institution. It is run by Svetlana and Zoran Popović, film directors, producers and professors. The film school of the Center for Visual Communications “KVADRAT” was founded in 1990 as the first private film school in the former Yugoslavia, and today it is the only one of its kind that supports the practice of alternative education – instead of formal diplomas, students eventually receive their own films as a confirmation of their knowledge.
